Ongoing Monthly Needs
$25 - Goat feed and care
$40 - Misc. hospital care (outreach)
One-Time Needs
$30 - Chairs for new Baby House office
$40 - Wood Highchairs with feeding trays (4 needed)
$40 - Instant Showers & Installation (for hot water showers) - for our staff and guest showers
$50 - Desk for new Baby House office
$60 - Changing table and work station
$120 - Fencing around babies' outdoor play area
$150 - Additional baggage fee for shipping new diapers and other items needed. We hope to find someone coming to Kenya who is willing to bring an additional bag so that we can ensure they will arrive.
$200 - Set of cloth diapering system for two more babies. (We have started using Flip cloth diapers which is proving to save a LOT of time and money. It is also much better for the babies than what we have previously used. Each set will last through the babies' diapering years, and we will hopefully be able to use them for more babies after that!) - ONE SET GIVEN, STILL MORE NEEDED TO ADD ADDITIONAL BABIES
$250 - Indoor Baby Swing - they are very hard to find here, and are extremely expensive, but our babies would love them.
$260 - Electrical wiring for our laundry area - so that we can run the washing machine and dryer at the same time
$420 - Lawn Mower - We have a very large yard and our grounds keeper is spending a lot of his time slashing it with a machete type thing.
$780 - Grounds work - Ground leveling, graveling a driveway, some landscaping
